DayItinerary
Day 01Arrive Paro — Acclimatization walk, Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong; trek briefing.
Day 02Paro – Jele Dzong (3,450m) — Climb through blue pine forest; stunning Paro valley views.
Day 03Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha (3,780m) — Alpine forests, rhododendrons, yak herder camps.
Day 04Jangchulakha – Jimilang Tsho (3,880m) — Beautiful lake; views of Jichu Drake (6,989m).
Day 05Jimilang Tsho – Simkotra Tsho (4,110m) — Several passes, prayer flags, high-altitude lakes.
Day 06Simkotra Tsho – Phajoding (3,870m) — Cross Phume La (4,210m); visit Phajoding monastery.
Day 07Phajoding – Thimphu — Descend through pine forest; afternoon at Memorial Chorten and Tashichho Dzong.
Day 08Thimphu – Depart Paro.
